Our coaching is designed to improve our players as all-round cricketers in all formats. Today’s game is changing quicker than ever and young players need to know about new batting, bowling and fielding techniques and strategies. Our Coaches have not only played at the top level, they have the coaching qualifications to pass the knowledge of what it takes to make it in the elite senior game to all our young players.

APPROACH

Coaching that’s designed for each player.

We have an abundance of coaches, meaning all our players receive personalised coaching. We believe in a holistic approach to our coaching, which allows our young players to improve in both their approach to cricket and to their personal life.

All our players receive unparalleled high quality weekly training led by our esteemed Director of Cricket, Ketan Garg alongside the highest qualified coaching team. Every player receives bespoke player development plans and takes part in a high quality match play programme in the Summer too. We provide an all round approach to coaching including technical and video analysis, strength and conditioning, psychology, nutrition and yoga.

MEET THE COACHES

  • Ketan Garg

    Ketan Garg, a former Indian first-class cricketer, began his career at just 18, debuting for Arunachal Pradesh. He was part of the Delhi Capitals camp squad in 2019, showcasing his skill and dedication to the game. Now an ECB-qualified Level 2 coach, Ketan specializes in batting and shares his expertise as a coach at Fulham Cricket Club. Additionally, he serves as Hub Supervisor and Coach at Platform Cricket and is the MCC Foundation Hub Manager for Hammersmith (2023), mentoring the next generation of cricketers with passion and precision.

    Enamul Haque Jr.

    A former international cricketer for Bangladesh, representing his country in both Test and One Day formats. He currently leads cricket at NewVic College and is a Specialist Spin Coach at the CFS Cricket Academy in London. Enamul also serves as Head Coach for London Eagle Cricket Club, Spin Coach at Roehampton Cricket Academy, and Coach at Safe Skill Cricket Academy. Additionally, he is the Youth and Engagement Officer for Grassroots Trust. Modern spin bowling is an ever-evolving art and there is not better coach than Enamul to help young cricketers learn it.

    Chander Kaul

    Captain of India. As a former international cricketer with an illustrious career, representing her country in 5 Tests and 31 ODIs between 1993 and 2000, Coach Chander was a skilled right-handed batter who also played first class cricket for Middlesex.

    Now an ECB Level 3 certified coach with over 15 years of experience, Chander is dedicated to nurturing young talent. She works closely with schools, colleges, universities, and clubs to develop impactful cricket programs, specializing in coaching players aged 5-15. With her goal-oriented approach and extensive experience, Chander inspires the next generation of cricketers.

  • Sana Taj

    Sana Taj is a former Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team cricketer who represented Pakistan during the 2015 tour of Sri Lanka in Colombo, playing 3 T20 Internationals and 3 ODI matches. Her domestic first-class cricket career includes representing Karachi Region, Hyderabad Region, PCB XI, Omar Associates, and Saif Sports Saga (Department Team). She also captained the Zone VI Women Cricket Team, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the growth of women’s cricket in Pakistan.

    With over 12 years of experience in Physical Education teaching and cricket coaching, Sana moved from Karachi to London to pursue an MSc in Strength and Conditioning from Middlesex University, which she completed in 2025. Sana is currently working as a Senior Cricket Coach at LCC, where she is dedicated to developing and inspiring the next generation of cricketers. As a former international athlete, educator, and coach, she serves as a positive role model for young female players, encouraging them to break barriers, build confidence, pursue excellence in sport and education, and believe in their ability to succeed both on and off the field.

  • Jahurul Islam

    Jahurul Islam brings international playing experience and high-level cricket knowledge to the LCCA coaching team. A former Bangladesh international, Jahurul represented his country across Test, ODI and T20I cricket between 2010 and 2013, and built a strong career as a middle-order batter and occasional wicketkeeper. He has also played for Bangladesh A, Rajshahi Division, Dhaka Division and several leading domestic and franchise sides.

    At LCCA, Jahurul supports young cricketers with technical batting development, game awareness and match preparation, helping players understand what it takes to progress in a competitive cricket environment. His experience at international and domestic level allows him to offer clear, practical and personalised guidance to players looking to improve their all-round game.

  • Radha Marripati

    Radha Marripati is a distinguished professional cricketer with a stellar domestic career representing Hyderabad in List A cricket and various age-group competitions. A world-record holder for the highest score in T20 cricket in India, Radha is a dynamic top-order batter and a skilled medium-pace bowler. With over five years of experience in player strategy and performance management, Radha has guided players through tailored practice plans, fitness goals, and mental conditioning. Currently based in the UK, Radha has continued to excel, becoming one of the top scorers in the last two seasons and earning an ECB Level 2 coaching qualification. Now a Digital Subscription Manager at MCC and a coach with LCCA, Radha is passionate about transferring knowledge and inspiring the next generation of cricketers with a blend of technical expertise and game awareness

  • Misem Zaidi

    Misem Zaidi began his cricketing journey with Essex County, progressing from U9 level to the academy programme. At 18, he made his first-class debut for Cambridge University and later played for Northamptonshire’s Second XI as a leg-spinner. With years of competitive experience, Misem is now dedicated to coaching the next generation, helping players develop their skills and knowledge. Beyond cricket, he trains in MMA and focuses on helping athletes enhance strength, speed, and overall performance.

  • Anthony De Mel

    Anthony is a senior ECB-qualified cricket coach with expertise across performance and participation pathways. With 15 years of teaching experience at Sussex House, Anthony works with players of all ages and abilities. Also qualified in football and rugby, he ensures a safe and supportive environment with certifications in first aid and safeguarding. Anthony’s adaptable coaching style and dedication make him an invaluable part of the team.

  • Umar Amin

    Umar Amin is an experienced Pakistani cricketer known for his calm left-handed batting and strong domestic record. A former Pakistan international, he has represented his country across formats and has also been a consistent performer in Pakistan’s first-class and List A cricket.

    With his experience at international and domestic level, Umar brings valuable insight into batting technique, game awareness and match preparation. His background makes him well placed to support young cricketers with clear, practical guidance on how to build confidence, improve decision-making and develop their all-round game.
